Benji Magaluf – The legend
In 2010, when I left Boomerang to manage The Red Lion bar on the main strip I made the best decision of my Magaluf career and gave Benji a job! He had been working at Mulligans Bar the year before that, to be honest I’d never seen him before. He said he remembered me as I’d told him to get off the sofas in Boomerang!? (i must have a had a few!) Over the years I had worked with and managed over 30 door staff as people come and go for the summer season, some good, some bad, but none like Benji. People will have their own opinion on what makes a good doorman but for me this guy was the complete package.
Anyway we gave him a trial, he got the job, he had the platform he wanted, we created a monster and the rest is history………..
Why he’s the best doorman in the world:

5 He can shoulder press you – or anyone else
6 He can pick you up with his teeth
7 He can pick Terry Hollands up with his teeth!
He can, I saw him do it!

9 He has a VERY camp side!

The man is fast – for his size, unbelievably so! you have been warned.

It’s true, he does! There are many hen parties out there that can vouch for this and it’s one of the best things you’ll ever see!
12 He came back stronger than ever after losing his eye
13 He has good back up!
Benji is far from being a bully bouncer but sometimes confrontations are unavoidable. If he’s ever in real trouble his cousin Ike is never far away…….
14 He’s a family man
15 He entertains – customers love him!
He’s the most photographed man in resort!
There it is, my humble opinion why he’s the best there is! Benji you are a Magaluf legend my friend.
